Our arches are available in loose cut and prefabricated systems. They can be supplied rubbed and gauged with varied joint sizes and with a fair faced soffit if required. Arches can be supplied in the following ways:
Non-structural:
These arches can be self-supporting, but should be used in conjunction with secondary steel lintels in most cases.
- Loose cut arches – the traditional method of producing arches, they can be supplied in any length and have to be built by a skilled bricklayer.
- Logic Lite – a revolutionary arch system which is stronger, lighter and more stable than the block back way of producing arches. It is prefabricated and can be produced in larger sections up to 2.8 meters where necessary.
- Block backed arches – these can be produced when specifically requested, however this method has been mostly replaced by the Logic Lite system.
Structural arches:
